Continuing Pharmacy Education Information
AMCP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education (CPE).
Pharmacists can earn a maximum of 9.0 contact hours of CPE credit by attending one CPE session during each session block during AMCP 2021 (not including pre-meeting programs and satellite symposia held in conjunction with the meeting). To obtain credit, pharmacists must attend a session in its entirety, participate in session-specific learning assessments, obtain a session-specific attendance code, complete a session evaluation, and record their participation online at https://amcplearn.org no later than 5pm ET on Monday, May 17, 2021. No exceptions can be made after this date.
CPE Session Types
All CPE sessions at AMCP 2021 are knowledge-based and designed primarily for pharmacists to acquire factual knowledge.
The CPE Monitor system became mandatory for all pharmacists, technicians, and CPE providers on Jan. 1, 2013.
Information about the amount of CPE credit pharmacists earn at AMCP 2021 is transmitted electronically by AMCP to NABP. Pharmacists who log into CPE Monitor will be able to access information about CPE credit earned at AMCP 2021 approximately 72 hours after successful submission.
