The Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.

As an accredited provider, AMCP strictly adheres to the ACPE Standards for Commercial Support and other relevant guidelines and standards to ensure the independence of continuing pharmacy education (CPE) activities.  It is AMCP’s intent that all CPE activities be independent, objective, balanced, evidence-based and free of any commercial bias.

Some states have special requirements for the content to meet state requirements for continuing education.  Please check with your state to determine if such requirements exist and to determine if these activities meet those requirements.

For Pharmacists

The CPE accreditation information is included with each learning activity.  Pharmacists must use their unique NAPB e-Profile ID, birth month, and birthday to claim credit to meet NABP CPE Monitor requirements. Learn More

Florida licensed pharmacists must self-report their CE credits to CE Broker.  AMCP Learn is not integraded with CE Broker.

Noncommercial and the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support

ACPE has adopted (and requires all accredited CPE providers to abide by) the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support. These standards require that all CPE activities are planned independently of commercial interest and content is delivered with full disclosure and equitable balance.

Educational activities may contain discussion of published and/or investigational use of agents that are not indicated by the Food and Drug Administration. AMCP does not recommend the use of any agent outside of the labeled indications. ACPE and NABP Policy Update - Effective May 1, 2014

ACPE and NABP will no longer allow ACPE-accredited CE providers to issue statements of credit directly to participants. CE credit may only be awarded via CPE Monitor. Participants may print a copy of their statement from their NABP e-Profile account. CE provider-generated certificates will no longer be valid. Official Statements of Credit must be obtained from CPE Monitor.

CE credits must be submitted to CPE Monitor within 60 days of completing a CE activity. No credits will be accepted by CPE Monitor after this deadline.
